Angling

Many people visit Ballina/ Killaloe every year to fish on Lough Derg and the river Shannon, 

Lough Derg is famous for its pike and trout fishing.  There is also very good course angling with bream, roach, perch and rud populating the lake and river.

 

Since 1999 we have hosted many fishermen in Kincora House. We work together with Ferdi Heijerman, a well-known fishing guide, originally from The Netherlands, who has his fishing business in Ballina, Killaloe (www.pike-ireland.net).

 

There is a fishermens' shed for your rods, nets etc and a drying facility for any wet clothes.
